Burley Manor is seeking a friendly Housekeeping Assistant to join our team in the New Forest. You’ll help prepare bedrooms and refresh guest areas, ensuring every room is clean, comfortable and beautifully presented for our guests.

This hands-on role values attention to detail, reliability and a positive attitude. Previous housekeeping experience is helpful but not essential; you’ll receive training and have opportunities across our venues, with weekend and holiday shifts required.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience would be an advantage, but it’s not essential.
• Attitude, reliability and pride in your work are valued.
• Willing to learn and develop within the team.
• Comfortable working in a busy hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare bedrooms to a consistently high standard.
• Refresh public areas around the hotel.
• Replenish guest amenities and ensure rooms have what guests need.
• Report maintenance issues or damaged items promptly.
• Follow housekeeping procedures, health and safety guidelines.
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
