Job summary

The Club Company is seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Assistant to join our premium golf and country club in Reading. You will set up tables and event spaces, greet guests, serve food and drinks, assist in bar and Barista duties, and help deliver memorable guest experiences for Members and guests.

This role operates across 0600–2300, with varied shifts including weekends and events. Previous customer-facing experience is desirable; food safety certification desirable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer facing role desirable
• Food safety certification and/or HACCP certified is desirable
• An excellent standard of presentation is essential

Responsibilities

• Set up tables and event spaces.
• Greet and serve guests, deliver food and drinks promptly.
• Maintain well-stocked bar areas and upsell offerings.
• Clear and clean tables; handle money according to procedures.
• Assist in front-of-house areas, including full bar and Barista duties.
