Job summary

Andras Hotels in Northern Ireland is seeking a Housekeeping Team Member for the IBIS City Centre role. You will help keep rooms and public areas fresh and welcoming for guests, while supporting the hotel team 20 hours per week.

You’ll work between 12pm and 10pm, assist guests as needed, and take pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards. Training and progression opportunities are provided through the Andras Academy.

Qualifications

• Ability to work within a team and also independently.
• High standards of attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills and flexible with regards to working hours.
• Ability to communicate and follow instruction.
• Must have a clear understanding of speaking and understanding English.
• Experience within a Housekeeping or Cleaning role.

Responsibilities

• Ensure rooms are clean and welcoming to guests, with attention to detail.
• Assist guests with requests, such as toothbrushes or directions.
• Keep supervisor updated on room service progress and repairs.
• Follow safety procedures and wear protective equipment as needed.
• Maintain supplies, minimise waste, and log lost and found items.
• Reunite items with owners and log lost and found per procedures.
• Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments.
• Attend departmental training and uphold front/back of house areas.
• Support deep cleaning projects and turndown duties as needed.
• Take part in reward/recognition schemes and training programs.
