About the job

The role of a Guest Experience Host is essential for daily operations and guest interactions. You will assist in maintaining outstanding guest experiences, supporting areas such as Virtual Reality, Teddy Bear Workshops, School Tours, and retail and café offerings. We seek enthusiastic team members to join our operation.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Delivering exceptional guest service and creating memorable experiences at each stage of the guest journey.
• Leading workshops for guests, including school tours, arts and crafts, and virtual reality sessions.
• Enhancing guests' experience with a friendly, professional attitude capable of interacting with all ages.
• Upselling experiences and retail/food and beverage products.
• Preparing hot drinks for guests.
• Basic food handling.
• Proactively engaging with operational needs as they arise.
• Reviewing and revising operational manuals to keep knowledge up to date.
• Adhering to Health & Safety guidelines, including queue management, First Aid, Fire Marshalling, and emergency plans.
• Working cohesively as part of a team with internal and external stakeholders.
• Completing compliance tasks and e-learnings on time.

You'll need to be:

• Confident in leading sessions for various groups.
• A confident communicator capable of resolving problems or escalating when necessary.

As a minimum, you will need to have:

• Prior experience in a customer-facing role.
• Ability to support customers to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Proficiency with IT systems, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Barista and food handling experience (desirable).
• Cash handling experience (desirable).

About the location

London Cable Car, North Greenwich.

Working pattern

This role involves working 5 days out of 7, on shifts from 0800 to 0000.
