Job summary

UCB - Brocks is seeking friendly hospitality team members for roles across restaurant, bar, conference and event spaces in Birmingham. You will welcome guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and contribute to consistently excellent guest experiences.

The role offers comprehensive training, ongoing support and opportunities to progress within a dynamic hospitality group backed by a strong culinary education heritage. Flexible shifts and a positive team environment are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
• Clear communication skills and a strong team ethic.
• Ability to remain calm, organised and focused in a busy environment.
• Experience across hotel, restaurant, bar, conference and event operations.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and event shifts.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service throughout their visit.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and serve dishes and drinks to a high standard.
• Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages responsibly.
• Build strong product knowledge and make confident recommendations.
• Process payments and transactions accurately.
• Set up, maintain and clear restaurant, bar, conference and event spaces.
• Maintain excellent standards of cleanliness, presentation and organisation.
• Support conferences, banqueting, celebrations and special events as required.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the business to create a seamless guest experience.
