Job summary

voco Southampton is seeking a dedicated Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team, delivering exceptional guest experiences across dining services.

As an occasional worker, you will help prepare and serve food and beverages, maintain clean dining areas, and support events while enjoying flexible shifts and staff benefits. The role provides valuable learning and hands-on hospitality exposure in a renowned UK hotel.

Qualifications

• Previous hospitality experience desirable but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high standards.
• Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of food and beverages to guests in an efficient and pleasant manner.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of dining areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and resolving complaints promptly and professionally.
• Support the Food and Beverage team in all operational duties, including setting up and clearing tables, restocking supplies, and assisting with inventory management.
• Assist in the coordination and execution of events and special functions.
• Ensure all areas are well-stocked and presented impeccably at all times.
