Novotel Glasgow, part of the Accor network, is hiring a Reception Team Member. The role involves multi-tasking across check-in/out, guest assistance, and supporting F&B and Reservations in a fast-paced environment. You will be fluent in English and able to maintain high service standards with a positive, proactive attitude.

We offer a 5-shift full-time pattern, a welcoming team, and opportunities to grow within Accor’s global network across 5,000 hotels in over 100 countries.

Formación

• Service-focused personality is essential.
• Proven customer service experience in hospitality or similar fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage guests professionally.
• Proficiency with hotel management systems and general IT literacy.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work across multiple departments (Front Office, Food and Beverage, Reservations).
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive can-do attitude.
• Ability to remain calm and organised when managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of service.
• Team player mentality with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
• Fluency in English for guest interaction.
• Professional appearance and demeanour befitting a hotel reception environment.
• Previous experience using Opera Cloud.

Responsabilidades

• Assist guests with check-in and check-out and respond to requests.
• Support Food & Beverage outlets and Reservations when needed.
• Provide welcoming, professional guest interactions across all touchpoints.
• Collaborate across Front Office, F&B, and Reservations to ensure smooth operations.
• Continuously improve service quality and hotel standards.
