Job summary

Whitbread PLC is seeking a Tech Specialist for Kiosks & Digital Access to own and evolve guest-facing technology across our hotel estate. You’ll act as the technology specialist for kiosk, key management and guest access solutions, supporting design, implementation and continuous improvement of systems underpinning the guest journey.

• Experience with access control, kiosks or guest-facing technologies.
• Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with integrated systems and complex technology environments.
• Ability to investigate issues and implement long-term solutions.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technology specialist for kiosk, key management and guest access solutions across our hotel estate.
• Support the design, implementation and continuous improvement of technology solutions that enhance the guest journey from check-in to room access.
• Work closely with hotel operations teams to understand business challenges and develop practical technology solutions.
• Collaborate with suppliers, partners and internal stakeholders to deliver reliable and effective technology services.
• Support the integration of multiple systems and platforms that form part of the hotel technology ecosystem.
• Investigate technical issues, identify root causes and drive sustainable resolutions.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance across product, platform and service initiatives.
• Support solution design, configuration, testing, implementation and ongoing operational support activities.
• Ensure solutions meet agreed standards for performance, security, resilience and supportability.
• Build and maintain technical documentation, support processes and best-practice guidance.
• Assess new technologies, tooling and supplier capabilities to support future innovation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and guest satisfaction.Escalate risks, supportability concerns and technical issues where appropriate.
