Job summary

Jarrodean Healthcare Recruitment seeks a qualified Speech & Language Therapist for an Band 6 post on the island of Guernsey. You will join a team supporting adults with speech, language, communication and swallowing difficulties across inpatient and community settings.

Applicants should have HCPC registration and ideally at least one year post-registration experience in adult settings, with dysphagia training. Driving licence advantageous for community caseloads.

Qualifications

• HCPC registration is required.
• Ideally at least one year post-registration experience in an Adult Inpatient or Community setting.
• Postgraduate dysphagia training or demonstrated competencies for ward/community referrals.
• Full driving licence is advantageous to attend community caseloads.

Responsibilities

• Manage a clinical caseload and provide a specialist SLT service to adults with speech, language and swallowing difficulties across acute, rehabilitation, continuing care and community settings.
• Contribute to an integrated Adult Speech & Language Therapy service on Guernsey.
