Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a seasoned strategy professional to lead corporate strategy development, strategic planning, and M&A activities. You will work with the executive team to define the mission, vision, and plan to win, and to develop mid- to long-range plans for the company and its units.

The role involves due diligence, deal structuring, and presenting high-quality analyses to senior leadership. MBA and 6+ years of relevant experience are highly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, or Engineering; combination of training/experience accepted.
• Master's Degree and/or MBA strongly preferred for senior roles.
• MBA strongly preferred for investment/strategy leadership.
• Experience in investment banking, consulting, or corporate strategy/M&A is highly desirable.
• 6+ years of relevant experience; Master's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supports corporate strategy development, strategic planning, acquisitions, divestitures, and joint venturing activities, with general guidance on moderately complex issues.
• Supports executive team to define mission, vision, goals, and strategic priorities for Global Payments' business segments.
• Supports execution of mid- to long-range planning processes across the company and units.
• Supports pipeline development, due diligence, negotiations, deal structuring, and execution of M&A opportunities.
• Advises leadership and develops business plans; conducts qualitative, quantitative, and financial analysis; presents to executives.
