Job summary

Moog in Wolverhampton is seeking experienced GS Assembly & Test Technicians for our onsite Wolverhampton facility within Global Sustainment. You will perform fault finding, diagnostics on flight-critical actuators, and rebuilds to exacting aerospace tolerances, working from engineering drawings and manuals.

The role requires BPSS Baseline clearance or ability to obtain it, a keen eye for quality, and precise measurement with micrometers, vernier calipers, and height gauges.

Qualifications

• Experienced Assembly & Test Technician with aerospace experience.
• BPSS security clearance or ability to obtain Baseline clearance.
• Ability to work from engineering drawings and manuals.
• Strong attention to detail and precision in tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Fault finding and diagnostics of flight-critical actuators.
• Strip and rebuild actuators with new components.
• Inspect parts using precision measuring tools.
• Compile survey reports and requests for new parts.
• Release to service of repaired actuators after quality audits.
