Job summary

the company in London seeks a Product Manager for the UPL Growth team, owning a meaningful portion of how we originate loans, including decisioning, data, and product journeys. You will drive opportunities to improve conversion and growth, then take them from hypothesis through discovery to measurable results.

You will work in a small, ambitious team with backend engineers and close partnerships across Credit Risk and Data Science, shaping lending decisions and partner journeys.

Qualifications

• Clear communication with senior stakeholders across technical and risk teams.
• Ability to collaborate closely with engineers on scope and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Own defined area of the UPL growth roadmap from sizing to launch and iteration.
• Translate signals into a clear product strategy and prioritize actions.
• Shape origination, decisioning journeys and data behind loan offers.
• Lead cross-functional discovery with Engineering, Credit Risk and Data Science.
• Develop propositions that improve customer clarity and confidence in the application process.
• Balance scope, risk, commercial return and engineering effort in roadmaps.
• Use data to identify friction, validate hypotheses and quantify impact.
• Explore growth ideas, including new data sources and partner opportunities.
• Translate complex lending and technical problems into decisions for senior stakeholders.
• Build and improve products to move the company toward leading UK unsecured lending.
