Job summary

Zopa Bank Limited in London is seeking a Product Manager for the UPL Growth squad. You will own a meaningful portion of how we originate loans, shaping the decisioning, data and product journeys that determine eligibility and access.

You will partner with engineering, credit risk and data science to translate signals into strategy, deliver measurable commercial outcomes and maintain a balance between risk and customer value in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in lending or consumer credit.
• Quantitative foundation through study or equivalent experience.
• Data-led fintech environment knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own a defined area of the UPL growth roadmap, from opportunity sizing through to launch, measurement and iteration.
• Turn commercial and customer signals into a clear product strategy, choosing where to focus and what not to pursue.
• Shape the origination and decisioning experience, including the rules, journeys and data that sit behind a customer receiving a loan offer.
• Lead cross-functional discovery with Engineering, Credit Risk and Data Science to find the most valuable, feasible route to growth.
• Develop propositions that give customers greater clarity and confidence before they invest time in a full application.
• Make the call on scope and sequencing, balancing customer value, risk, commercial return and engineering effort.
• Use data to uncover friction, validate hypotheses and quantify the impact of your work.
• Bring new growth ideas into the roadmap, from smarter use of existing data to new external data sources and partner opportunities.
• Translate complex lending and technical problems into decisions that senior stakeholders can align behind.
• Build, launch and continually improve products that help Zopa move closer to becoming the UK's leading unsecured lender.
