Job summary

OpenTable, part of Booking Holdings, seeks an Associate Counsel - Growth & Partnerships in London (Hybrid). You will manage a portfolio of commercial transactions and provide day-to-day global marketing and advertising law guidance.

This role supports business objectives, collaborating with teams across OpenTable, Booking Holdings, and sister brands. Hybrid in-office presence 2x/week.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor or barrister in England & Wales, in good standing.
• 3+ years' experience supporting marketing, advertising, and commercial contracting functions.
• Strong knowledge of advertising requirements (ASA/CAP, UK GDPR), IP licensing.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate international commercial agreements for marketing and advertising campaigns and partnerships.
• Review marketing materials for compliance with global legal requirements.
• Advise on brand and IP matters including trademarks and copyrights.
• Advise on regulatory obligations across UK, EU, and other markets.
• Provide timely legal advice and develop scalable resources like templates and playbooks.
