Job summary

OpenTable, part of Booking Holdings, Inc., seeks an Associate Counsel to support growth and partnerships from London in a hybrid role (2 days in-office). You will manage a portfolio of international commercial agreements and provide day-to-day marketing and advertising law guidance across global markets. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in marketing, advertising, and contracting, with strong ASA/CAP, UK GDPR, and IP licensing knowledge.

U.S. advertising law familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience supporting marketing, advertising, and commercial contracting functions.
• Strong working knowledge of ASA/CAP Codes, UK GDPR, promotional marketing laws, and IP licensing.
• Familiarity with U.S. advertising and marketing law is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate international commercial agreements (marketing, partnerships, licensing, NDAs).
• Review and approve advertising and marketing materials for compliance with global legal requirements.
• Advise on brand and intellectual property matters, including trademarks and rights of publicity.
• Advise cross-functional teams on regulatory and marketing compliance obligations (UK, EU, and other markets).
• Develop scalable legal resources such as templates, playbooks, and self-service tools.
