Job summary

Care Outlook LTD in the United Kingdom is seeking a Registered Manager for a domiciliary care scheme. You will lead the scheme team, cover rotas, care planning, staffing and budget, and ensure every resident has a person-centred plan reviewed regularly.

You will monitor quality via spot checks and audits, recruit and develop staff, report safeguarding concerns, and submit CQC notifications on time. A Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Leadership and Management (or working towards it) and

Qualifications

• Three years of management experience in domiciliary care or similar setting.
• Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Leadership and Management, or working towards it.
• Knowledge of CQC regulations and Health and Social Care Act 2008.
• Willingness to register with CQC as the Registered Manager for this scheme.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the scheme team, including care coordinators, senior carers and office staff.
• Run the service day to day, covering rotas, care planning, staffing and budget.
• Ensure every resident has a person-centred care plan that reflects their choices and is reviewed regularly.
• Monitor quality through spot checks, medication audits and observations, and act on findings.
• Recruit, supervise, train and develop your team.
• Report safeguarding concerns without delay and ensure investigations.
• Submit statutory notifications to CQC on time and keep inspection ready.
• Maintain staff files, training records and compliance records up to date.
• Collaborate with commissioners, social workers, health professionals and families.
• Work with Regional Manager to grow the service and meet targets.
