Job summary

InfiniteCFO is seeking a hands-on Management Accountant to support a growing portfolio of clients. You will join our client service team, maintain general ledgers, prepare monthly management accounts and performance dashboards, and provide robust accounting analysis.

You will identify performance trends, explain variances, and propose improvements while mentoring finance assistants. Based in Cheltenham two days a week with remote options, occasional client visits may be required.

Qualifications

• ACCA / CIMA qualified with at least one year's PQE.
• Experience with accounting software (Xero, Sage) and advanced Excel.
• Ability to apply AI tools to streamline processes and support decision making.
• Strong data interpretation and clear communication of insights.
• Process orientation with meticulous attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Onboard new clients with CFO-level onboarding and standard tooling adoption.
• Maintain client general ledgers, perform reconciliations, and ensure revenue recognition.
• Prepare prepayments, accruals, and monthly management accounts.
• Collaborate with client teams on cash flow forecasts and budgets.
• Mentor finance assistants and drive process improvements.
• Work with wider client service team to enhance delivery and efficiency.
