Job summary

Impact Food Group is seeking a Business Development Chef in Reading to drive regional sales presentations, support site audits, and develop food offers aligned with brand standards. You will lead initiatives to retain clients, train teams, and mobilise resources to meet growth targets.

Reporting to the Food Director, you will join a growing Food team within a fast-expanding school catering group, collaborating across brands and sites to elevate menu concepts, cost controls, and operational

Qualifications

• Formal culinary qualification (NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent) with 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Computer literate with Word, Excel, PowerPoint and catering management systems.
• Strong understanding of menu/concept development, cost controls and operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present in your region (and support neighbouring presentations).
• Support with retention and value-add presentations; audit and develop site plans.
• Deliver a centre of excellence by supporting and developing food offers in line with brand standards.
• Implement a PVR and uphold highest health, safety and food safety standards.
• Identify and develop talent by building a team to support presentations and growth.
