Job summary

A leading online cyber security training platform is looking for a Growth Software Engineer to join their cross-functional team. You will blend full-stack engineering with experimentation to enhance acquisition, activation, and retention metrics. The role involves designing and executing growth experiments in a MERN + TypeScript codebase. Ideal candidates have extensive software engineering experience, are proficient in front-end frameworks, and can collaborate effectively across teams. This position is fully remote and offers flexible working hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience (full stack).
• Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, and modern front-end tooling.
• Backend experience with Node.js, Express, and MongoDB/Mongoose.
• Understanding of scalable application design and clean architecture principles.
• Experience with A/B testing and feature flags.
• Comfortable using analytics tools to track impact.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and ship growth experiments end-to-end.
• Work across the stack (React, TypeScript, Node.js, MongoDB).
• Translate data into code with Product and Data teams.
• Optimise user journeys and conversion funnels.
• Implement analytics and event tracking.
• Research new tools and frameworks.
