Hargreaves Lansdown group is seeking Software Engineers to innovate on market-leading digital client journeys. You will build cloud-native applications in AWS using TypeScript and React, and manage infrastructure as code. You’ll write secure, tested code and contribute to robust CI/CD pipelines.

You’ll work within an agile team, collaborating across disciplines, documenting solutions, and mentoring peers while continuously improving performance, security, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building modern web apps using TypeScript, React and Node.js.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and IaC tooling.
• Familiarity with testing approaches (unit/integration/e2e) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of microservices, RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Attention to accessibility standards (WCAG).
• Strong collaboration, code reviews and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality digital client journeys.
• Develop AWS cloud-native applications using TypeScript/React and manage with IaC.
• Write secure, tested, and performant code.
• Create and maintain automated tests for changes.
• Document solutions according to team standards.
• Provide engineering support and maintenance for existing applications.
• Mentor peers and promote continuous improvement in CI/CD practices.
• Engage with squads and communities to support development efforts.
