Job summary

Yard Sale Pizza is seeking an Operations Manager to drive excellence across multiple London shops, building strong local teams and delivering outstanding customer experiences. You will own shop-level performance, coach managers, and ensure every location upholds the Yard Sale Pizza standard.

You’ll travel across London shops, lead by example, and partner with GM and marketing to grow profitability and community presence.

Qualifications

• Experience as a multi-site operations manager in a high-volume hospitality or QSR environment.
• Experience managing P&Ls, labour, and food costs to drive profitability.
• Excellent people leadership, coaching and development skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-location role with strong organisation.
• Outstanding communication and relationship-building across all levels.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support five Yard Sale Pizza shops to deliver operational excellence, customer experience and profitability.
• Coach and develop management teams to create high-performing teams and accountability.
• Own sales, labour, food costs and overall P&L for your shops with action plans to improve results.
• Monitor labour deployment and productivity to balance service and costs.
• Drive delivery performance, improve out-the-door times and dispatch efficiency.
• Ensure every pizza meets Yard Sale Pizza standards and quality checks.
• Conduct regular audits on food safety, health & safety, equipment and compliance.
• Support recruitment, onboarding and development of shop teams and succession planning.
• Collaborate with GMs and marketing on local initiatives and partnerships.
• Review customer feedback to identify trends and long-term improvements.
