Job summary

COREcruitment is recruiting an experienced Multi-Site General Manager to oversee two high-profile hospitality venues in Canterbury, with plans to grow the business.

The role is senior, hands-on, with full ownership of the day-to-day operations across both sites, including a vibrant restaurant, bar and late-night venue plus an Indian kitchen and bar. You will lead a team of around 50, optimise sales, labour, stock and budgets while partnering with the owner on expansion.

Qualifications

• Experience as GM or multi-site manager.
• Background in high-volume restaurants/bars.
• Proven turnover and team management.
• Strong P&L, labour, cost control.
• Ownership mindset and proactive leadership.

Responsibilities

• Take complete day-to-day responsibility for both venues
• Lead and develop a team of ~50
• Manage sales, labour, stock, budgets, profitability
• Support management teams at each site
• Maintain standards across food, drink, service
• Drive revenue via events, late-night, local marketing
• Introduce systems and accountability
• Work with owner on openings and rollout
