Job summary

Arnold Clark in Glasgow is seeking an Ecommerce Executive to join our Marketing team at Hillington Head Office. You’ll promote over 250,000 products across ecommerce marketplaces, optimise customer experience and drive online and offline marketing activity with a data-led approach.

You’ll work with designers, developers and copywriters to plan, implement and analyse campaigns, using tools like Google, Shopify and email marketing to improve ROI and meet tight deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced ecommerce/digital environment.
• Experience working on Shopify or similar ecommerce platform is essential.
• Experience creating direct marketing strategies, including designed, plain text and automation.
• Product knowledge within an aftermarket parts environment is desirable.
• Experience in both retail and B2B marketing.

Responsibilities

• Promote over 250,000 products across ecommerce marketplaces, branches and trade delivery network.
• Constantly improve customer experience to maximise conversion and retention.
• Plan a wide range of marketing activities to drive business online and offline.
• Develop and implement an omni-channel digital marketing strategy.
• Monitor ROI and analyse trends using Google, Shopify and analytics tools.
• Write SEO-friendly copy and create engaging email campaigns and landing pages.
• Create and manage social media PPC campaigns with in-house specialists.
• Test digital activity to improve results and optimise campaigns.
• Report regularly on marketing activity to internal stakeholders.
