Duolingo is seeking a Data Scientist to embed with product development teams, delivering data-driven analyses that move outcomes and ROI. You will translate complex findings into leadership-ready narratives and build self-serve dashboards to empower the Growth organization.

The role requires deep ML fluency, strong SQL/Python/R skills, and experience delivering value in a fast-growing consumer tech environment. You will mentor peers and collaborate across Marketing, Finance, and Engineering.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative field or equivalent demonstrated expertise in analytic methodology.
• Experience embedding with or supporting a product development team and delivering value from data in real-world settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to distill quantitative work into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Embed with one or more product development teams to boost impact of iteration and experimentation.
• Own prioritization and ROI assessment of Data Science opportunities within your area.
• Translate complex findings into clear narratives for leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Develop analytical foundations within Growth, including self-serve dashboards and methodological guidelines.
• Mentor and collaborate with other Data Scientists within Growth and across the company.
