Duolingo is seeking a Strategy & Business Operations Manager to shape the company’s path and align leaders across Growth, Language Learning, Monetization, and more. You will balance speed and rigor to resolve ambiguity and turn one-off wins into scalable systems.

You will develop actionable strategies by combining market insights, user data, and product vision, and lead cross-functional initiatives to accelerate progress on top priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop actionable strategies: collaborate with cross-functional leaders to combine market understanding, user insights, and product vision into strategies that teams will pursue to achieve Duolingo’s mission.
• Sprint to assess opportunities & markets: identify and assess compelling opportunities for Duolingo, including problem-space definition and hypothesis generation.
• Lead with data, structure, and judgment: establish success metrics, build frameworks, and make trade-offs across priorities.
• Partner cross-functionally: work with product, engineering, design, marketing, partnerships, data science, and finance.
• Learn and grow: rapidly gain new skills and industry learnings while delivering strategy work.
