NFUonline is seeking a Policy Adviser for Horticulture and Potatoes in Stoneleigh, Warwickshire, with hybrid working. You will help develop policy to support productive farming and resilient grower businesses, engaging with growers, industry bodies, and government colleagues across England and Wales.

You’ll translate industry evidence into persuasive policy positions, communicate complex issues clearly, and influence decisions in a fast-paced, outward-facing role within NFU’s policy teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in the fresh produce or horticulture sector or related policy roles.
• Strong communication skills to present complex issues clearly.
• Ability to engage with growers, civil servants and industry stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Support and shape policy across the horticulture and potatoes sectors.
• Develop and deliver policy to support productive, profitable farming and grower businesses.
• Identify emerging issues and turn industry evidence into practical policy positions.
• Be a trusted source of expertise for NFU members and colleagues and represent NFU at meetings.
