PIB Group is seeking a Group Technical Accounting Manager to lead and coordinate technical accounting across the Group, providing expertise on complex areas and supporting high-quality financial reporting. The role reports to the Group Head of Financial Reporting and involves liaising with auditors and advisers on technical matters.

Ideally based in London or East Midlands with some travel; you will own policies, assist with group restructurings, and oversee EIR, FX, IFRS 16, and IFRS 18 areas

Competenze

• Qualified accountant with post-qualification experience in technical accounting.
• Experience in complex multi-entity groups and group consolidation.
• Strong IFRS and UK GAAP/Companies Act understanding.

Mansioni

• Own Group technical accounting policies (IFRS and UK GAAP) and prepare papers for Board and auditors.
• Lead acquisition accounting and advise on restructurings and intra-group transactions.
• Own EIR models for Group debt and oversee intercompany loan accounting.
• Oversee FX accounting, IFRS 16 models, and related disclosures.
• Lead IFRS 18 implementation impact assessment and notes preparation.
• Support Group and holding company statutory financial statements.
