PIB Group is seeking a Group Technical Accounting Manager to lead and coordinate technical accounting matters across the Group, ensuring high‑quality financial reporting and acting as a key contact for auditors and advisers. The role requires deep IFRS knowledge and UK GAAP/Companies Act familiarity, with a focus on complex areas such as acquisitions, EIR, FX and IFRS16.

The successful candidate will own policies, oversee consolidation for a multi‑entity group, manage intercompany loans

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA/ACCA with post‑qualification experience in technical accounting.
• Experience in large practice and multi‑entity group environments is preferred.
• Strong background in acquisitions accounting, IFRS2, IFRS16 and IFRS18.
• Proven ability to communicate technical issues to non‑specialists and work with auditors.

Responsabilités

• Own the Group's technical accounting policies across IFRS and UK GAAP.
• Lead acquisition accounting for business combinations and related restructurings.
• Own EIR models and oversee intercompany loans alignment with Treasury systems.
• Oversee FX accounting, IFRS16 leasing models and related disclosures.
• Own accounting for share‑based payments (IFRS2) and IFRS18 implementation.
• Support preparation of Group and holding company statutory financial statements.
