Job summary

COREcruitment is seeking a Group Sous Chef for a Midlands-based multi-site contract catering portfolio. You will be the second-in-command in the culinary team, travelling between sites to train staff and support events and live cooking while driving food standards.

The role offers a £45,000 salary, a company car with petrol card, and a Monday–Friday pattern with no nights. Travel across sites from London to Teesside is possible within the Midlands/UK network.

Qualifications

• Proven multi-site or large-scale catering experience.
• Strong leadership and training skills.
• Experience with live cooking and menus development.
• Willingness to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

• Train and develop kitchen teams across sites.
• Deliver live cooking demonstrations and support events.
• Assist with menu development and food concepts.
• Provide hands-on chef cover when needed.
• Drive consistency and high food standards.
