Job summary

COREcruitment is recruiting a Group Executive Chef for the Midlands. The role owns food strategy, culinary standards, and BOH performance across the estate, with a hands-on, leadership-focused approach to develop senior kitchen teams.

The successful candidate will manage food cost, supplier relationships, and sustainability while driving quality and consistency across multiple sites. A strong classical training and passion for quality-led food are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong classical culinary foundation.
• Experience with seasonal, ingredient-led menus.
• Knowledge of British produce, provenance, and regional suppliers.
• Proven track record of creative yet commercially viable menus.
• Experience leading Head Chefs and senior kitchen teams across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Define food strategy, menu development, and culinary standards.
• Lead and develop senior BOH teams across the estate.
• Drive food quality, GP, and kitchen performance.
• Collaborate with Operations Director on openings and rollouts.
• Manage supplier relationships, sourcing, and sustainability.
• Ensure food safety, compliance, and due diligence.
• Use commercial data to identify opportunities and improve performance.
• Develop future culinary leaders and a strong kitchen culture.
