Purpose of the Group Risk Manager:
The Risk Manager has a pivotal role in shaping and implementing risk management strategies.
All operational risks across our diverse portfolio of solar, wind and BESS assets from the development pipeline through to operational sites and eventually through to the decommissioning phase of operational sites will need to be tracked and stakeholders advised across the group on their specific risk management processes. Given the wide range of activities undertaken within the group, the range of risks will be wide ranging from H&S on construction and operational sites, regulatory risks for all entities and with a FCA focus for the FCA regulated entity, Bluefield Partners LLP, cyber security risk for the entire group and the other risks which businesses operating in our industries face.
As part of the operational risk management role, the Group Risk Manager will need to support other parts of the group (including other group focussed teams such as Legal, ESG, IT, Finance, HR, project managers, procurement leads) in supply chain controls and ensuring that outsourcing risks are identified and managed.
Regulatory risk management and conduct risk processes, specifically supporting our compliance monitoring activity for the FCA regulated entities in the group, is another area that this role could support.
The Group Risk Manager would also support in several key working groups across the group established to implement best practice and new ways of working centrally in keys areas such as Policies, Information Security and Cyber Resilience, Supply Chain management and Crisis Risk Management (incorporating Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans).
The Risk Manager will also play a pivotal role when a wider governance structure review is undertaken with a view to separate Risk Committee(s) being established.

About the Bluefield Group:
The Bluefield Group is comprised of Bluefield Partners LLP, Bluefield Services Limited, Bluefield Operations Limited, Bluefield Renewable Developments Limited, Bluefield Construction Management Limited, and other subsidiaries. Each of these is focused on renewable energy at various stages of the lifecycle of a solar/wind/BESS site and each provide services to an FCA-regulated fund (Bluefield Solar Income Fund) along with other funds. The group is expanding its operations, and we are establishing a new Risk team to address group-wide risk issues and to ensure that the highest standards of governance and risk management are embedded. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join as a Risk Manager. Headquartered in Bristol, we are at the forefront of sustainable investment and energy solutions.
Hours of Work:
37 ½ hours per week, Monday to Friday 9:00 am until 5:30 pm.
