Job summary

Wise is seeking a Risk Lead to join the Global Risk team to support Wise Assets. You will embed the ERMF across the product ecosystem, provide independent challenge, and partner with cross-functional teams to ensure risk is managed as Wise scales globally.

You will work with governance, compliance, and product teams to monitor risks, report insights, and drive risk-aware decision making across multiple jurisdictions. Hybrid onsite/work-from-home arrangement applies.

Responsibilities

• Implement and embed Wise’s Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF) across the Wise Assets product ecosystem.
• Coordinate with first line and regional risk colleagues to ensure consistent risk practices.
• Provide second line oversight on risk assessments, control design, and residual risk decisions.
• Support product growth with risk advice and proportional mitigation strategies.
• Monitor key risk indicators, incidents, and governance reporting.
