Job summary

Goodman Masson is partnering with a global Media & Entertainment business to recruit a Group Reporting Manager. This ACA-qualified role offers exposure to IFRS consolidation across a multi-entity group and a clear path to senior finance leadership.

Based in Central London with hybrid working, you will lead the group IFRS financial statements, coordinate year-end and half-year audits, own the consolidation process, and support cashflow analysis alongside senior management and treasury.

Qualifications

• Strong IFRS technical accounting knowledge.
• Experience liaising with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Lead Group IFRS financial statements and sign-off with Head of Group Reporting.
• Coordinate year-end and half-year external audits and be a main point of contact for auditors.
• Own the Group consolidation process including intercompany eliminations and mapping to chart of accounts.
• Oversee production of subsidiary statutory accounts UK and international entities.
• Support cashflow forecasting with insights on liquidity and working capital with treasury.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and present conclusions to senior management.
• Lead on one-off M&A projects and support monthly reporting and budgeting.

Group Reporting Manager | Media | £75,000 to £80,000 + Package/Bonus | Central London (Hybrid)

Goodman Masson is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a global Media & Entertainment business on the search for a Group Reporting Manager. This is a rare opportunity for an ACA-qualified accountant with genuine group reporting or consolidation experience to join a fast-moving, internationally recognised business, with a clear route to progress further into the wider Group Finance function.

You’ll sit at the technical heart of the Group's finance function, working closely with the Group Controller on the numbers that matter most to the business, with real exposure to senior leadership and the variety that comes from a global, multi-entity structure.

The Role:

Reporting into the Group Controller, you’ll play a key role in delivering accurate, high-quality financial reporting to support strategic decision-making across the group. This hybrid role combines technical reporting with commercial insight, including:

• Take the lead on preparing the Group's IFRS financial statements, working closely with the Head of Group Reporting on judgemental areas and sign-off
• Coordinate the year end and half year external audit process, acting as a key point of contact for the audit team
• Own the Group consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations, consolidation adjustments and mapping to the Group chart of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely group results for reporting and audit purposes
• Manage the production and filing of subsidiary statutory accounts across UK and international entities
• Support the Group's cashflow forecasting process, providing insight and analysis on liquidity and working capital to support senior management decision-making, working closely with treasury on execution
• Act as a key technical accounting resource for the Group, researching and forming well-reasoned positions on complex and judgemental areas, supporting the implementation of new standards, and presenting conclusions to senior management
• Take the lead on one-off M&A projects, partnering with teams across the business, while contributing to monthly reporting, annual budgeting, and ownership of specific balance sheet, cashflow and working capital areas

What We're Looking For:

• ACA qualified with genuine group reporting or consolidation experience, whether that's from a group finance function directly, or Big 4 audit experience built around complex, multi-entity group audits
• Strong technical accounting knowledge under IFRS, with the confidence to research and land a position on judgemental areas
• Confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-makers
