Goodman Masson is partnered with a global Media & Entertainment business to recruit a Group Financial Reporting Manager in Central London. The role is hybrid and offers exposure to senior leadership within a high-performing finance team.

The ideal candidate is ACA-qualified, with IFRS expertise and a background in group consolidation, capable of managing audits and driving M&A initiatives while delivering accurate group reporting.

Qualifications

• ACA qualification with Big 4 audit background or equivalent transition into industry.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge under IFRS.
• Confidently influence senior stakeholders and decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of the Group's IFRS financial statements and sign-off with Head of Group Reporting.
• Coordinate year-end and half-year external audits with audit teams.
• Own the Group consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations and mapping to the chart of accounts.
• Manage production and filing of subsidiary statutory accounts for UK and international entities.
• Support cashflow forecasting with analysis on liquidity and working capital for senior management.
• Provide technical accounting input on complex areas and drive implementation of new standards.
• Drive one-off M&A projects and contribute to monthly reporting and budgeting.

Group Reporting Manager | Media | £75,000 to £80,000 + Package/Bonus | Central London (Hybrid)

Goodman Masson is delighted to be exclusively partnering with a global Media & Entertainment business in the search for a Group Financial Reporting Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ACA-qualified professional to join a high-performing, internationally recognised organisation offering strong career progression and exposure to senior leadership.

The Role:

Reporting into the Group Controller, you'll play a key role in delivering accurate, high-quality financial reporting to support strategic decision-making across the group. This hybrid role combines technical reporting with commercial insight, including:

• Take the lead on preparing the Group's IFRS financial statements, working closely with the Head of Group Reporting on judgemental areas and sign-off.
• Coordinate the year end and half year external audit process, acting as a key point of contact for the audit team
• Own the Group consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations, consolidation adjustments and mapping to the Group chart of accounts, ensuring accurate and timely group results for reporting and audit purposes.
• Manage the production and filing of subsidiary statutory accounts across UK and international entities.
• Support the Group's cashflow forecasting process, providing insight and analysis on liquidity and working capital to support senior management decision-making, working closely with treasury on execution.
• Act as a key technical accounting resource for the Group, researching and forming well-reasoned positions on complex and judgemental areas, supporting the implementation of new standards, and presenting conclusions to senior management
• Take the lead on one-off M&A projects, partnering with teams across the business, while contributing to monthly reporting, annual budgeting, and ownership of specific balance sheet, cashflow and working capital areas.

What We’re Looking For:

• ACA qualified through Audit, Ideally a big 4 Audit Manager who wants to transition across into industry, or someone ACA trained with relevant industry experience in a group consolidation focused role.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge under IFRS
• Confident working with senior stakeholders and influencing decision-makers
