Hybrid: 2 days per week in our London Bridge office

The ZPG group consists of the RVU and Houseful Divisions, including some of the UK’s most well-recognised digital brands like Confused.com, Zoopla, Uswitch, Money.co.uk, and Tempcover. These brands aim to empower consumers in property and household decisions. ZPG is also a leading provider of residential property software and data, with products such as Hometrack, Alto, Calcasa, among others. The group focuses on delivering value and improving customer experience, supported by private equity investors Silver Lake and Red Ventures, which bring expertise in product, technology, and marketing.

An exciting opportunity to manage financial reporting for the ZPG Group, reporting to the Senior Group Finance Manager. The role involves delivering monthly consolidated management accounts, annual statutory IFRS accounts, preparing lender and board packs, cash flow analysis, and supporting stakeholder requests. This is a highly visible role in a fast-paced, private equity-led tech group, essential for accurate, timely, and compliant reporting.

What you'll be doing:

Group finance

• Manage internal and external reporting, ensuring compliance with statutory and corporate guidelines.
• Oversee consolidation across entities, ensuring consistent accounting, including intercompany and cost recharges.
• Manage cash flow forecasting for trading divisions and external debt.
• Own P&L items below EBITDA, such as share-based payments, amortisations, and interest.
• Maintain and update financial policies and procedures.
• Review and finalize monthly management accounts.
• Coordinate year-end audits and liaise with external parties.
• Review subsidiary financial statements.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
• Assist the Senior Finance Manager as needed.

Technical accounting

• Monitor updates to reporting requirements.
• Assess accounting implications of commercial decisions.
• Review IFRS adjustments for management accounts.
• Assist with acquisitions and disposals.
• Conduct impairment reviews.
• Account for LTIPs and share-based payments.
• Handle significant transactions and commitments.

Treasury

• Own cash flow forecasting and review divisional submissions.
• Assist with treasury matters and evaluate new instruments.
• Manage debt facilities, including submissions, drawdowns, interest, hedging, and covenant reporting.

What we're looking for

• Fully qualified Chartered Accountant, +4 years PQE (ICAEW, ICAS, ACCA or equivalent)
• Experience in group reporting, consolidations, or audit in a demanding environment
• Treasury experience or related audit experience
• Highly competent in IFRS
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Effective team management skills
• Proactive, ownership-driven, flexible, team player
• Ability to challenge and prioritize effectively
• Experience with Netsuite
• Experience working with private equity firms
• TMT experience (Technology, Media, and Communications)
