Job summary

Flora and Co Associates in South Birmingham is seeking a Group Management Accountant to join a collaborative finance team. You will produce monthly management accounts across multiple entities and support consolidations and statutory reporting.

This role offers study support where applicable, office-based with on-site parking, and scope to develop budgeting and forecasting as you progress. You should be ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified with strong Excel skills and experience in multi-entity

Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified, studying or qualified by experience.
• Experience producing management accounts for multiple entities is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and SUMIFS.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts across multiple entities.
• Prepare consolidated management accounts and financial reports.
• Complete month-end activities including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate year-end audits and support statutory financial statements.
• Prepare VAT returns and support corporation tax processes.
• Analyze financial performance, investigate variances and provide insights.
• Support improvements to finance processes and controls.
• Mentor a junior finance team member.
