Job summary

Flora and Co Associates in South Birmingham is seeking a Group Management Accountant to join a collaborative finance team across multiple entities. You will produce monthly management accounts and assist with consolidation and budgeting.

The ideal candidate is ACA/ACCA/CIMA part-qualified or qualified by experience, with strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS) and a proactive, organised approach. This is an office-based role with study support where applicable.

Qualifications

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA part-qualified, studying or qualified by experience.
• Previous experience producing management accounts.
• Multi-entity experience would be advantageous but isn't essential.
• Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP and SUMIFS.
• Proactive, organised and keen to continue developing your finance career.

Responsibilities

• Produce monthly management accounts across multiple entities.
• Prepare consolidated management accounts and financial reports.
• Complete month-end activities including accruals, prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate year-end audits and support the preparation of statutory financial statements.
• Prepare VAT returns and support corporation tax processes.
• Analyse financial performance, investigating variances and providing meaningful insight.
• Support continuous improvements to finance processes and controls.
• Mentor a junior member of the finance team.
