Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is recruiting a Group HSEQ Manager for a well-established British manufacturer in Hertfordshire. The role offers autonomy to lead HSEQ across four UK sites, reporting to the Technical Director and guiding a team of QA Technicians.

You will oversee ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001, manage audits and regulator interactions, and drive practical improvements across manufacturing and project activities. Travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH National General Certificate required or equivalent.
• NEBOSH Diploma advantageous but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel between sites.
• Manufacturing/engineering/project-based background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Health, Safety, Environment and Quality across four UK sites.
• Own and maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certifications.
• Manage internal and external audits and liaise with regulators.
• Develop QA Technicians across Ware, Coleford and Cleckheaton.
• Investigate incidents and drive improvements across the group.
• Maintain accreditations including CHAS and Constructionline.
