A leading company in facilities services is seeking a Group HSE Specialist Assurance. This role involves improving HSE management systems and ensuring compliance through audits and inspections. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams and requires a related degree, strong communication skills, and a willingness to travel internationally.

Main purpose of the position:
The Group HSE Specialist Assurance will be responsible for delivering independent assurance on the effectiveness of the ISS Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems, controls, and practices. This role supports operational excellence by identifying risks, monitoring compliance, and driving continuous improvement in line with company standards and legal requirements.
What you’ll do:
• Develop and implement HSE assurance plans, including audits, inspections, and performance reviews.
• Conduct regular audits site visits and audits across multiple Country business units to verify compliance with internal ISS HSE procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to operational teams on HSE assurance matters.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and contractors to promote best practices and shared learning.
• Support internal and external HSE audits and regulatory inspections.
• Prepare assurance reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• The role will involve up to 25% international travel.
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of HSE systems, policies, and processes.
Who you’ll work with:
• Reporting into the Group HSEQ team this role will be part of the Group HSEQ function and work alongside the Group HSE Assurance Manager.
• A recent Graduate in a health, safety & environmental related degree (or similar level recognised qualification.
• A good understanding of HSE Management systems
• C1 English skill if not a native English speaker.
• Internal auditor training will be provided to the successful candidate
