Job summary

Blue Gem Holdings in London (Greater London) seeks a Group People Manager to act as the organisation's sole HR lead, reporting to the Chief of Staff. You will shape HR strategy, build scalable systems and manage the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to offboarding, while ensuring UK employment law compliance and trusted advisory support to the leadership team.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience in an HR Generalist role.
• Degree and CIPD Level 5 qualification; CIPD Level 7 or other HR certifications are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practice and the ACAS Code of Practice.
• Experience developing and implementing HR policies, processes and systems, ideally including an HR system rollout.
• Excellent judgement and problem-solving, able to handle complex HR issues autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR strategy with the Chief of Staff and leadership team.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee lifecycle management.
• Advise managers on employee relations, grievances, absence, and flexible working.
• Lead HR policy creation, contracts, and GDPR-compliant record-keeping.
• Roll out new HR systems and AI tools across the organisation.
