Job summary

Dr. Martens is seeking a Group FP&A Manager to lead budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning across the Group. You will partner with finance and business teams to drive performance, develop robust financial models and deliver strategic insights to senior leadership.

The role requires a qualified finance professional with extensive FP&A experience and strong skills in ERP platforms (D365, OneStream), Excel and Power BI. Hybrid workModel and global impact on consumer strategy await.

Qualifications

  • Qualified finance professional with post‑qualification FP&A experience across P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and value‑driver analysis.
  • Strong budgeting/forecasting capability, robust financial modeling, and ability to translate ambiguity into clear recommendations.
  • Commercially minded and strategic thinker linking financial performance to operational and growth drivers.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver Group budgeting, forecasting and long‑range planning processes with accuracy and strategic alignment.
  • Provide Group‑level performance analysis across revenue, margins, opex and profitability, highlighting risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare insights for senior leadership, translating data into actionable narratives and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with finance and business teams to support decision‑making and drive improvements in planning and reporting.

As our Group FP&A Manager, you’ll be part of the Finance team working closely with brilliant people across the business. You’ll be right at the heart of fast‑moving projects that shape how we show up for our consumers - today and tomorrow.

CORE ACCOUNTABILITIES

As our Group FP&A Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the delivery of Group budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes, ensuring outputs are accurate, aligned and reflective of strategic priorities.
  • Providing Group-level performance analysis across revenue, margin, opex and profitability, identifying key trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Preparing financial insights and materials for senior leadership, translating complex data into clear narratives, recommendations and actions.
  • Partnering with finance and business teams across the Group to support decision-making, develop financial models and drive continuous improvements in planning and reporting processes.
KEY SKILLS & CAPABILITIES
  • Qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualified experience and strong expertise across FP&A, including P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and value driver analysis.
  • Strong planning and analytical capability, with experience leading complex budgeting and forecasting cycles, developing robust financial models, and translating ambiguity into clear recommendations.
  • Commercially minded and strategic thinker, able to connect financial performance to operational, consumer and business drivers to support decision-making and long-term growth.
  • Strong systems and reporting capability, with experience using ERP and consolidation platforms (such as Microsoft D365 and OneStream), advanced Excel skills (including Power Query and PivotTables), Power BI reporting, and a proactive approach to leveraging AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot to enhance efficiency and insight generation.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator, with the ability to influence stakeholders, manage competing priorities, and drive continuous improvement through simplification, change and best-practice ways of working.
