Otto James Consulting is exclusively supporting a Manchester-based technology organisation as they look to increase their senior finance talent by recruiting a Group Financial Controller to sit within their new commercial structure.
With 2024/2025 revenue spikes, acquisitions across Europe, and the opening of new UK offices, the organisation aims for double-digit year-on-year growth and plans for an additional capital raise. This is an exciting period for the company, which is at the forefront of its field.
Due to growth and investment, there is an immediate need to add senior Financial Controller talent. The current finance team is high-performing; however, the organisation seeks best-in-class talent who can collaborate with the c-suite and contribute strategically.
The successful candidate will join an effective team but will be tasked with elevating the team to the next level. This role is ideal for a qualified accountant seeking significant career growth and the opportunity to shape a division and organization on an upward trajectory.
You will lead reporting on capital investment appraisals, including pre- and post-investment analysis. Building dashboards to monitor KPIs and key performance metrics will support weekly, monthly, and annual reporting, accompanied by insightful commentary.
Supporting stakeholders across the organization is key. The role requires a commercially minded accountant with strong communication skills to challenge and support business strategy through financial analysis, market data, and trends. Managing division forecasts, budgets, KPIs, and balance sheet reviews will be central to understanding the company's real-time position.
This is an office-based role, with an expectation of three days per week in Manchester City Centre and two days remote if desired.
Salary: c£65,000 to £75,000 basic, plus bonus
