Job summary

Jagex: The RuneScape Company in Cambridge, UK (hybrid) with some travel, is seeking a proactive Financial Accountant to manage group consolidations, statutory accounts, and the audit process. You will support a transition period including ERP preparation and enhanced financial reporting across the group.

The role requires ACA or equivalent, and experience in multi-currency consolidation, intercompany transactions, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with post-qualification experience in group finance or external reporting.
• Experience in multi-currency group consolidations and reporting at group level.
• Ability to manage external audit teams and understand intercompany transactions and tax implications.

Responsibilities

• Prepare statutory accounts and consolidated financial statements within deadlines.
• Lead audit processes with PwC and internal tax teams.
• Simplify holding structures and assess tax implications with Group Tax Manager.
• Support transition activities including ERP implementation and month end close.
• Improve internal and external reporting processes and management reporting.
