Job summary

Jagex: The RuneScape Company in Cambridge, UK, is seeking a proactive Financial Accountant to join our finance team. This role will manage group consolidations and statutory accounts, oversee the audit process, and streamline the holding structure while supporting a period of transition and potential ERP implementation.

You will lead consolidation processes for multi-currency entities, coordinate with PwC and internal teams, and help prepare management reporting and month-end close.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant with ACA or equivalent and UK right to work.
• Experience preparing consolidation and group-level reporting.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Audit Management and Statutory accounts preparation for legacy group entities, ensuring deadlines are met.
• Manage audit process with PwC and internal teams and provide audit evidence.
• Simplify previous holding structure and assess tax implications of changes.
• Provide accounting support for upcoming ERP implementation and reporting.
• Assist with month-end close, management reporting, and improving internal and external reporting processes.
