Jagex: The RuneScape Company in Cambridge, UK, is seeking a proactive Financial Accountant on a fixed-term contract until 31 July 2027. The role requires leading group consolidations and statutory accounts, managing the audit with PwC, and supporting a potential ERP implementation.

The position is hybrid with office visits twice weekly. The successful candidate will handle multi-currency consolidations and intercompany transactions, while working across tax and finance teams during a period of

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant (ideally ACA or equivalent).
• Post-qualification experience in group finance or external reporting.
• Experience in multi-currency group consolidations and reporting.
• Strong understanding of intercompany transactions, loan balances, and tax implications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across teams.
• Proactive, independent problem solving, and strong Excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Statutory accounts preparation for legacy group entities and consolidated accounts.
• Manage and coordinate the audit process with PwC and internal teams.
• Simplify holding structure and assess tax implications of changes.
• Provide accounting support for ERP implementation preparation.
• Assist with month-end close and management reporting.
