Job summary

Marks Sattin partners with a private equity-backed international business in the aerospace and aviation supply chain. The role leads statutory reporting, technical accounting and financial controls across a multi-entity Group, supporting growth and strategic initiatives.

The successful candidate will manage UK/ Jersey statutory accounts, coordinate audits, oversee consolidations, and drive robust financial controls across international entities, while liaising with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications

• Qualified ACA or ACCA (or equivalent).
• Experience in statutory reporting and technical accounting.
• Experience in multi-entity or group environments.
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, consolidations and financial controls.
• Experience managing external audits and statutory accounts.
• Private equity-backed or international business exposure is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of UK and Jersey statutory accounts.

• Prepare quarterly statutory reporting to the parent company.
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and relevant accounting standards.

• Strengthen financial controls, balance sheet reconciliations and audit readiness.
• Support refinancing, due diligence and transaction-related accounting activities.

We're partnering with a private equity-backed international business operating within the aerospace and aviation supply chain. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing finance function, taking ownership of statutory reporting, technical accounting and financial controls across a multi-entity Group, whilst supporting the business through its next phase of growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of UK and Jersey statutory accounts
• Manage the statutory audit process, liaising with external auditors
• Oversee monthly management accounts and Group consolidations
• Prepare quarterly statutory reporting to the parent company
• Ensure compliance with UK GAAP and relevant accounting standards
• Oversee corporation tax, VAT compliance and financial reporting across international entities
• Strengthen financial controls, balance sheet reconciliations and audit readiness
• Support refinancing, due diligence and transaction-related accounting activities

Successful Candidate

• ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
• Big Four or top-tier accountancy practice trained preferred
• Strong statutory reporting and technical accounting experience
• Experience working within a multi-entity or Group environment
• Strong knowledge of UK GAAP, consolidations and financial controls
• Experience managing external audits and preparing statutory accounts
• Previous exposure to private equity-backed or international businesses advantageous
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Available immediately or at short notice
