Our client is a leading international entertainment business. As the company continues to grow and evolve, they are seeking a practice-trained, qualified accountant to take ownership of its group finance function. Reporting directly to an accomplished finance leader, this role will offer broad responsibility and exposure across the business.

Key duties will include:

• Preparation of financial statements involving the consolidation of financial results and subsidiaries
• Responsible for month-end financial reporting and building key reports
• Ensure intercompany processes between subsidiaries and investments within the group are fit for purpose
• Develop the annual budget and forecasting process, working closely with international teams
• Liaising with subsidiaries to ensure all month end uploads are completed in an accurate and timely manner

Candidate requirements:

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or equivalent), with strong experience in preparing and reviewing financial statements, as well as technical accounting.
• Background in audit, either within practice or through managing external auditors for statutory audits; international exposure is a plus.
• Solid knowledge of accounting policies and IFRS.
• Proficient user of accounting software, quick to adapt to new systems, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
