Job summary

ExamWorks Group in Sheffield requires an Interim Finance Transformation & Controls Lead for a 6–12 month fixed-term assignment. You will lead the SOX-aligned controls programme, document end-to-end finance processes and drive efficiency across the function.

You will oversee the Sage X3 implementation, coordinating requirements, data migration and UAT, while building governance across the finance organisation. A hands-on, delivery-focused professional with ERP experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA).
• Experience supporting ERP implementations.
• Demonstrable process-improvement expertise.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication.
• Ability to work across finance and operational teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SOX-aligned financial controls with the SOX consultant.
• Review and document end-to-end finance processes across the Group.
• Identify control gaps and remediation actions.
• Drive process improvement, standardisation and automation.
• Lead the finance workstreams supporting the Sage X3 implementation.
• Coordinate finance requirements, data migration and user acceptance testing.
• Develop and embed finance policies, procedures and governance frameworks.
