Job summary

Eton Bridge Partners have been retained on a confidential search to appoint a Group Finance Director for an infrastructure business, operating in a regulated, capital intensive sector, currently going through a significant phase of finance transformation.

Reporting to the CFO, this is a senior leadership role at the heart of the finance function, with accountability for financial accounting and reporting, financial control, financial data management and tax.

Qualifications

• Day to day financial accounting & control experience in scale similar or larger.
• Track record of driving improvement and curiosity about what "good" looks like.
• Experience modernising finance data and systems, including ERP.
• Regulated accounts experience would be useful.
• A strong people leader with track record of building teams.

Responsibilities

• Owns accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting across the group.
• Designs and operates an effective financial control environment.
• Leads finance data governance and ERP upgrade activities.
• Oversees tax strategy, compliance and reporting.
• Leads and develops the finance team with succession planning.
• Engages with CFO and senior stakeholders as a senior finance partner.
