Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is partnering with an international product-based business to recruit a Finance Director for its EMEA and APAC operations. This role will shape the future of the finance function, closely collaborating with the CFO and senior teams to drive strategic and operational leadership across diverse entities.

This is a high-visibility, hands-on role overseeing budgeting, controls, acquisitions, ERP transformation and AI-enabled finance tools.

Qualifications

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with senior finance leadership experience.
Experience in manufacturing/product-based, distribution, or logistics environment is advantageous.
Strong technical accounting and controllership background with a commercial mindset.
Hands-on leader who thrives in a dynamic, low-bureaucracy setting.
Proven experience in leading teams and developing people.
Experience with acquisitions, business transformation, ERP implementations and process improvements.
Collaborative with strong communication across finance, commercial and operations.
Curious and forward-thinking, leveraging technology and AI to improve finance operations.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic and operational finance leadership across the EMEA and APAC regions, partnering with the CFO and leadership team.
Lead and develop a UK-based finance team with a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Partner with commercial and operational stakeholders, providing meaningful financial insight and challenge.
Drive budgeting, forecasting, reporting, working capital management and performance analysis across multiple entities.
Support ongoing acquisition activity, including due diligence, integration and post-acquisition financial management.
Lead ERP transformation, redesign processes, and embed automation and AI-enabled tools.
Oversee controls, statutory reporting, tax compliance and audit across jurisdictions.
Build relationships with international colleagues and engage in regular collaboration and travel.
